Wheelthrown matcha bowl with hand-foraged local clay (Castellamonte). The glaze is composed of local pink granite and a mixture of oak and acacia ash. The richness of the glaze color is almost indescribable: deep blue fades into areas of white, green, and gray. The white droplets resemble the foam of ocean waves or the drips of a frozen fall.
The firing temperature is 1260°
The granite glaze is highly durable and perfectly suited for food use.
